In Atlanta, household names such as Jermaine Dupri, DJ Toomp, and Polow Da Don to name a few have continuously reminded us why they are calling this hip-hop mecca the “Motown of the South.” Producers DJ Money & John J (Jizzle) are no exception. What started out to be Big Boyz Records in 1993, is now Big Boyz Music LLC, established 2005 in Atlanta, GA. They've made their way to Hotlanta to break into the market and continue building a name for themselves. Big Boyz recently collaborated on a song with VA native Noah O, producing the track for "I Got It." It has gained radio support and a mention in Protege & Ozone Magazine. With a hot single gaining momentum, pending placements, and internet releases of instrumentals from the new series "Back To Business," they are determined to network within the industry, and are seeking to bring positive reinforcement to the music business. John J and DJ Money are prepared to engage the market head on. Their sound is a blend of Hip-Hop R&B and modern Pop .
DJ Money Is CEO of Big Boyz Music. His production team is destined for greatness, and it all began in a small town in Arkansas. George Davis started doing music in band, at the age of 12. Surrounded by music while growing up, producer / DJ George Davis decided early on that if he had to get a job, it had to be doing what he loved to do, and it was producing music. George was born in Osceola Arkansas , a small town on the outskirts of Memphis, TN. He later moved on to djing at all the hottest parties as well as releasing his own mixtapes by the name of DJ Money. He's known for being a business man and creating opportunities in his hometown that never existed. He’s organized youth parties to raise violence awareness in his community. With more than 10 years production and management experience, George Davis proved to be too much for his small town upbringing. He decided to attain his goals by reaching a broader audience. Equipped with natural talent, perseverance and the determination to succeed, DJ Money made the move to Atlanta in 2005. There he met producer John J, attending college in Decatur, GA. Moving to a much larger, saturated area didn’t deter him at all. He understood it would take hard work to ultimately achieve the level of success he sought after.
John J Born John Brown in Jacksonville, FL, John J is president of Big Boyz Music, and has been in the industry since the age of 15. He got his start as a hip-hop artist with rap group UP -N- FLAMEZ, participating in industry showcases at local clubs, Ritz Theater, and The Roxy in Orlando, FL. He soon realized that his true passion was in production. Home to the likes of 95 South and The 69er Boyz, there was still a shortage in musical entities and influences despite the city's large and diverse population. It is here when he came to the conclusion that he'd have to relocate in search of a new situation in order to succeed at pursuing his music career. Shortly after graduating from Englewood H.S. on Jacksonville's Southside, John moved to Atlanta in 2004 where he enrolled into college and met producer/DJ George Davis (DJ Money). Long since, John J had been perfecting his craft with a new mentor in their quest to creating a "Great" production imprint, thus turning their ideas into an impressive catalog of musical works. Both were earning their music production, engineering, and Microsoft certifications and shortly afterwards the two became business partners.
